Online sessions

Online Tai Chi sessions

Online sessions may not be everyone’s first choice. We definitely agree that there is nothing quite like being face to face with a group. However, there is still a lot to be said for a virtual class.

Online can be a good option for those in remote areas

Online sessions offer access to people in rural or remote areas. Having to drive and take time out of a busy schedule can make it difficult to attend regularly. Also, the rising cost of fuel makes it a cost effective option.

Virtual class is accessible for people with physical limitations

Online sessions also provide accessibility to individuals who are disabled or housebound. Mobility can be a big issue. People who are unable to leave their home for various reasons, such as physical or mental illness, may find a virtual class a useful alternative to in-person settings. Some health conditions means that people have to manage energy. In these cases, just getting to the session can be draining. Often people with anxiety are more comfortable participating in familiar surroundings.

Our wellbeing programme includes a daily choice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong online.
