Our wellness programme offers a daily choice of live and recorded online sessions for mental and physical wellbeing, as well as in-person groups in the community and individual appointments at our studio.  Participate in the same sessions/s regularly, or mix and match to suit your own schedule – there is no limit.  Either way, these sessions will greatly benefit mind and body.

Qi Gong – the ultimate mind body practice for wellbeing

When conditions flare up, research tells us that the worst thing you can do is to stop moving, so we need to keep mobility in the rest of the body without causing pain or stress to problem areas.

These short, gentle Qi Gong sessions will encourage mobility and relaxation. They are intended to be done seated.

In these sessions we take familiar Tai Chi or Qi Gong movements and look at them through a different lens. Laban’s movement theories, Bartenieff fundamentals, Movement Psychotherapy principles, somatic experiencing and other mindful and body oriented concepts all play their part in deepening appreciation and re-framing understanding of the forms. In this way, Tai Chi becomes a truly internal art which is relevant to the inner world view of the individual.

Slow Down with Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Traditional Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements, simplified and repeated to created a flow. The repetition becomes a moving meditation, focussing on the deeper aspects of mindful movement. Combined with body and breath awareness meditations, this helps in strengthening the body, boosting immunity and calming the mind.

Either can be done seated or not, they both follow the same principles. The sessions shape around the participants. There is no right or wrong way to move and no judgement, just lots of encouragement

Deeply Moving

An immersive movement experience which acknowledges the connection between mind and body. Neither a class nor a fitness workout, it offers an opportunity to develop embodied awareness in a safe and supported way. The movement aspects are not taught, and they don’t require any experience or skill. Participants are encouraged to explore their own movement through awareness and improvisation and the session usually ends with a time of reflective relaxation.
